Simon Morris.
A Continuous Improvement specialist, Simon is also a qualified work-based trainer, NVQ assessor and Internal Verifier. His experience and knowledge is backed up by over 25 years in manufacturing, the majority of which has been spent in senior production roles within the chemical industry. Over the past 4 years Simon has been working with Cumbrian industries delivering NVQs to staff across all sectors. Business Improvement Techniques has been the core subject area, with delivery of over 200 level 2 qualifications as well as level 3. The BIT program has been instrumental in saving Cumbrian industry well in excess of £1m as well as securing the long term future of many local employees. With the delivery of Chemical, Pharmaceutical and Petro-Chemical operations alongside the BIT qualification mentioned above, Simon is able to offer an under-one-roof delivery of the chemical industry Gold Standard for operators in the UK. This, coupled with Lean master classes and the Productivity and Competitiveness framework (PAC), will offer employers a complete continuous improvement package that will help them to compete successfully in the ever challenging global market. Pat is a retired divisional officer with Cumbria fire service and is comfortable advising at all levels of an organisation, this is complimented by senior management qualifications. Since leaving the fire service he has in excess of 12 years experience in consulting to virtually all industry sectors, including nuclear, chemical, engineering, construction, manufacturing, care and process industries. Pat's qualifications include, chartered health and safety practitioner, a diploma in environmental management, security management specialist, numerous fire related achievements, NEBOSH examiner and IOSH professional development mentor. |
